The best way to determine if your employees are following your organization's HIPAA policies is to watch them in action. One way to do this is to walk through your organization's facilities and mark off a checklist that compares your HIPAA Privacy and Security policies and procedures with actual employee practices. By observing security and privacy measures in action, you get an idea of which areas require attention and which areas are working well in your organization.
