Course Overview: A conflict of interest (COI) happens when
the professional responsibilities of individuals or an organization have the
potential to be compromised by external obligations. In the healthcare world
conflict of interests can undercut the quality of healthcare and the well-being
of patients. Physicians and medical organizations may compromise their professional
responsibilities by pursuing private financial gain. This training is to
