Course Overview: Those working in healthcare have to exhibit
integrity while doing their jobs with all the different elements of compliance,
patient care, and other responsibilities. Integrity is shown in being
forthcoming when mistakes are made, upholding the truth, and making the right
decisions regardless of possible consequences. A natural enemy to integrity is
ignorance, it can stem from inherited biases, or from a lack of education and
training. This training provides examples of personal and professional
integrity, along with how to apply integrity and avoid being ignorant in
challenging situations.
