Course Overview: Employees that work in clinical
environments must be trained on how to address and protect themselves from
possible exposures and risks that they may encounter as part of their job
responsibilities. OSHA standard 29 CFR 1910.132 requires employers to assess
the workplace to determine if hazards are present, or are likely to be present,
which necessitate the use of PPE. Employers that have employees working in a
clinical setting must have training in place that is effective in protecting
against possible injury, illness, or even death.
