Course Overview: The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) states this about sexual harassment - It is unlawful to harass a person (an applicant or employee) because of their sex. Harassment can include "sexual harassment" or unwelcome sexual advances, requests for sexual favors, and other verbal, physical, or visual harassment of a sexual nature. Harassment does not have to be sexual and can include offensive remarks about a person's sex. At the completion of this training, the participant will have gained an understanding of the following components: CME Information, Training Requirements, Harassment, Types of Sexual Harassment, Bystanders, Reporting Harassment, Employer's Responsibilities, The Investigation, Protection and Support, and Prevention.
