Tip of the Week

Tip of the Week " Summer is here, flowers are in bloom, and even the Forms section is growing!

Summer is officially here on the 21st, but we've been growing our repository of compliance information for you all Spring! We are constantly adding new information to your Forms and Reference Guides. For example: This Spring we added several new documents in the forms section. You access your forms from the Office Level Dashboard. Here are a few of our new forms:

  • (Sample) Driver Policy
Driving for work involves a risk not only for drivers, but also for fellow workers and members of the public, such as pedestrians and other road users. As an employer, you must, by law, manage the risks that may arise when you or your employees drive for work. Employers cannot directly control roadway conditions, but they can promote and influence safe driving behavior and actions by their employees.
  • (Sample) Return Policy for DME
For patients receiving durable medical equipment (DME)
  • (Sample) Treatment and Payment Policy for DME
This form should be presented to the patient for review and signature before the DME is delivered to the patient. A copy of the signed form should be retained in the patient's file.
  • Psychotherapy Release of Information Form
A separate Authorization is required for the use or disclosure of psychotherapy notes.
  • Eyewash Stations and their Proper Use
Emergency eyewash stations are an employee's first defense against long-term eye damage and potential blindness. There are quite a few types of eyewash stations to choose from. Any of the options described in this document, when installed and used properly will help your practice achieve OSHA compliance and be a safer place for your employees to work.
  • Fire Extinguishers
OSHA requires employers to provide fire extinguishers in the office setting. This document supplements our OSHA training and reviews the following important guidelines for fire extinguisher use: OSHA requirements, instructions for using a fire extinguisher, fire extinguisher risk assessment, general fire extinguisher information, expiration dates, ABC ratings overview, and choosing the right fire extinguisher for your environment.
  • Posters
We also updated the posters you are required to display.

Coming this July you'll see an addition to your Reference Guides. Each guide will contain a Question and Answer Section. These will be Q&A's from actual clients just like you. You might login to the Reference Guide Q&A in July to find your questions already answered!

You can count on us to increase the amount of information you have access to. Our Forms, Reference Guides and Course Library are always growing!
