Course Overview: Marijuana is the dried flowers of the Cannabis Sativa plant. It contains delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). THC is what gives the "high" feeling one feels with marijuana. That is because THC has hallucinogenic properties. It also contains Cannabidiol (CBD). Per the National Institutes of Health and the National Institute on Drug Abuse, CBD is said to provide some health benefits. This training is for employees to have a better understanding of medical marijuana and its use.
