Course Overview: To promote and protect patient rights in healthcare facilities, rights must first be understood. Patients and personnel should both be informed of these rights, what they consist of, and how to implement them. At the completion of this training, the participant will have gained an understanding of the following components: Patient Bill of Rights, Affordable Care Act Rights, HIPAA Rights, and Advanced Directives.
